- The Boss pinned WCW International World Champion Rick Rude in a non-title match [10:29] with the sidewalk slam; the Boss wore his blue WWF attire for the bout; Okerlund conducted a ringside interview with the Boss regarding his arrival to WCW, during which he called Rude a criminal and said he wanted Rude's belt (Ray Traylor's surprise return after a nearly 6-year absence)

Vader (w/ Harley Race) pinned the Boss (with the moonsault, moments after the Boss kicked out of a Vader Bomb; after the bout, the Boss fought off an interfering Race before beating down both Vader and Race with the nightstick; moments later, WCW Commisioner Nick Bockwinkel intervened and escorted the Boss backstage; Ventura then interviewed the Boss and Bockwinkel backstage in which Bockwinkel took away the nightstick and handcuffs and said, in his opinion, he was no longer "the Boss" because of the way he handled himself after the match

Prior to the bout, WCW Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel had Vader, Angel, and Sting come out to see who would wrestle first in the scheduled triangle match; after Sting received the bye, Vader and Sting had a confrontation before the Angel told Sting he would handle it.

Sting defeated Avalanche via submission when referee Nick Patrick appeared and called for the bell as Avalanche was in the hold and guest referee the Guardian Angel hesitated to stop the match. After the match, the Angel attacked Patrick and with Avalanche - double teamed Sting until Alex Wright, Marcus Alexander Bagwell & the Patriot came out; moments later, Gene Okerlund interviewed Angel near the entranceway, who claimed Avalanche never gave up, WCW Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel made a bad call to send another referee out to do his job, and said he would now be known again as Big Bubba Rogers; during the segment, Angel said "shit" while tearing his Guardian Angel shirt, with Okerlund then scolding him (Ray Traylor's return as 'Big Bubba' after 7 years)

- Big Bubba defeated Hugh Morrus in a Mexican Death Match (Final Match under name Big Bubba Rogers)
- The Giant wrestled WCW World Champion Hulk Hogan (w/ Vincent) to a no contest. Late in the match, the Giant dropped the champion with the chokeslam but referee Nick Patrick (who was acknowledging allegiance with the NWO refused to count Hogan down for 3. The Giant then chokeslammed Patrick with the chokeslam; moments later, the Giant fought off Buff Bagwell, Vincent, Michael Wallstreet, and Big Bubba by dropping each of them with chokeslams.

Due to WCW Executive Vice-President Eric Bischoff's involvement with the heel group NWO, his authority (not appearance) was suspended by a WCW Executive Committee which was announced by Chairman JJ Dillion.  Referee Nick Patrick apologized for his joining the NWO and asked for reinstatement. Dillion said his reinstatement was being looked at. Dillion also announced that there were a few "NWO-WCW contracts" apparently invalid following Bischoff's joining the NWO. They were among others, Big Bubba Rogers (whom was stated as injured since February)

Before the match, Gene Okerlund conducted an interview with Big Bubba in the aisle in which he said his name was Ray Traylor and he was a man just like everyone else; he then spoke about being jumped in February, being told his wrestling career was over, and realizing the nWo was nowhere to be seen when he needed them the most; Traylor then said he didn't get one phone call or card, but did get a registered letter from Eric Bischoff saying he was no longer needed in the nWo; Traylor then said he taught himself how to walk again by motivating himself with a photo of Bischoff (Traylor's return after a 7-month absence)
